Commercial Finance Controller

Due to internal restructuring my client is looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Controller to head up a high performing commercial finance team. You will be responsible for driving through change while challenging the sales team on product profitability, competitor positioning, and driving greater margins while driving down costs. The business is experiencing growth in a very competitive market so as the Commercial Finance Controller providing strategic business support and brand planning is key in continuing their success. Other areas of responsibility include, staff development, competitor analysis, setting forecasts and budgets, evaluate threats to revenue growth. This is a high profile role in the organisation and requires the successful candidate to have worked in the FMCG or Retail sector with a minimum of 8 years in a senior commercial finance position. You will need to have experience of reporting to the board and key stake holders, understand what drives a sales team to maximise revenue and drive through growth. You will need to hold a recognised accounting qualification and be available to start immediately.
