Financial Controller

Our client, a luxury retailer based in central London, is currently looking for a Financial Controller, reporting into the Financial Director you will be managing the Management Accountant and Purchase Ledger.

£36k-£40k, Bonus scheme, Seasonal clothing allowance

Key Purpose of the Job:
You will be responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of the business

Day to Day Activity:

· Management of the purchase ledger clerk and management accountant – ensuring they are trained and able to do their jobs. Review of outputs, ensuring work is of a high and accurate standard 
· Preparation of budgets and forecasts	
· KPI reporting	 
· Review of balance sheet reconciliations, particularly accruals/prepayments
· Cost of purchases accrual calculation	
· Management of royalty income process
· Management of fixed-asset register
· Valuation of stock-takes
· Analysis of debtor days and bad debt coverage
· Payroll adjustments and journals
· Preparation of audit files and liaising with auditors
· Attend weekly sales ledger meetings to assist with resolving disputes	
· Related tasks and ad-hoc projects
