Commercial Financial Controller

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are recruiting for a Commercial Financial Controller for a rapidly growing VC backed retail business based in Portsmouth.

The Commercial Financial Controller will reporting into the Finance Director and be responsible for a growing finance team.Working closely with the Finance Director forging the business forward through strategic planning. The Financial Controller will be responsible for setting up KPIs/Reporting to ensure that all business management has transparency over the financial performance of all aspects of the business and ensure delivery of financial reports and analyses thereon to help manage and grow the business.  Produce accurate financial and management reports to support business decision-making. Implement, develop and improve internal financial systems and controls to support business growth and diversification.The Financial Controller will be involved in all business system enhancement projects to ensure they include appropriate improvement to financial and operational controls. Maintain accurate financial projection models and advise on the financial impact of prospective business proposals. The Financial Controller will be confident, a self starter, motivated, energetic, proactive and organised. Commercial and strategic minded with a proven work history preferably from a large retail background.

£50,000 - £60,000 + benefits
