Financial Controller

A growing online retail company is looking for a Financial Controller. This role will be to take on a exciting role reporting to the Finance Director. The company has doubled its turnover the last three years and is now in its next phase of expansion and growth. You will be managing a team of five which will look to grow even further as the business grows.

You will be responsible for the overall management of the company's Finance function, ensuring effective financial controls are identified, implemented and maintained for all business operations and reliable financial information is produced for decision making. The primary areas of responsibility will be varying from financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting, with a significant amount of ad hoc analysis. You will be a pivotal point for Finance in the business. They would like to hire someone with a clear understanding or experience of commercial issues.

Candidates should have a strong track record of career progression, impressive academics, be a qualified accountant and ideally have PLC experience. Hands on experience is also desired. Industry experience in Retail, FMCG or consumer industries is highly favourable. Obviously online experience is extremely desirable.
