Commercial Financial Controller

An exciting opportunity exists to join a market leading FTSE listed business in a commercial Financial Controller role. This is a maternity cover position to provide an effective suite of reports, KPIs and business information to a range of internal and external customers that help meet the strategic imperatives of the business. The role will act as the main interface between the reporting team and its internal and external customers (commercial finance, business line managers, regulatory authorities and group finance). Key responsibilities will include performance evaluation and reporting of all areas, identifying opportunities to improve performance; integration reporting; responsible for the integrity of reporting within HFM; budgeting and forecasting; audit work; gap management (eliminating gaps in performance against target); and regulatory reporting. The successful candidate will be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with significant PQE, have strong analytical and presentational skills, and experience of managing teams. It is imperative that the right candidate has experience of working for large and complex business and or PLCs too.
