Project Financial Controller - Real Estate

Our client are one of the most successful and highly respected financial institutions in existence, with a world class operations in investment banking, trading, asset management and insurance.  The firms corporate real estate team acquires, develops and manages its global real estate portfolio.  The EMEA portfolio has a significant development and refurbishment program and as a result there is the requirement for a senior finance resource to take ownership for all capital investment activity, planning, analysis, reporting and decision support related to the firms real estate portfolio.

Reporting to the EMEA CFO,  you will lead the EMEA project accounting teams to ensure high quality management reporting for all investment projects , driving all related planning and forecasting, advising all internal real estate clients on financial issues, maintain effective controls over all projects, working closely with CRE team to ensure projects are specified appropriately, ensure accounting standard applied constantly across all locations, and play an active role in the regional management team for the workplace group.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced qualified accountant with significant prior exposure to construction and property development to join a leading global banking group and add significant value to the management of their real estate cost control and capital expenditure.  You will possess natural leadership skills and be familiar with real estate investment appraisal techniques as well as project control accounting.  You will be able to develop and manage effective relationships with cross functional stakeholders and possess outstanding communication and presentation skills.
